The customer hears your approved store identity
Agents can present the call under the client-approved store or brand identity. The project defines the name, opening, offer description and customer promise that the agent may use, subject to the relevant identity, telephony and legal rules.
TheCall does not replace the brand owner. The client still owns the product, commercial terms, permitted claims, returns or customer policies, and authority to use the customer data.
Agents learn the active offer set
Agents are dedicated to one project. Their preparation can cover:
- the active product or offer set;
- approved product facts and prohibited claims;
- quantity and price tiers;
- permitted combinations, upsells and cross-sells;
- delivery-area or order-eligibility rules supplied by the client;
- customer questions the agent may answer;
- cases that must be escalated;
- the status and reason map returned after the call.
The team does not need to memorize an entire global catalog if the campaign promotes a defined offer set. The project should identify exactly which products, variants and policies apply to the leads entering the queue.
Phone-assisted selling after the form
The core job is to call an inbound lead generated through the store’s or authorized campaign’s customer journey. The agent can explain the approved offer, handle objections, confirm or change the order, present permitted order-value options and record the customer’s decision.
This is different from a general ecommerce help desk. TheCall does not promise round-the-clock inbound support, live chat, social inbox management, returns processing or universal where-is-my-order support. Project-specific customer-support calls may be considered when the use case requires them.
Return a reason with every lead status
A call can reveal more than a binary sale. The customer may question the product, misunderstand the price, request a different quantity, identify an address problem or explain why the offer is not relevant.
The configured status and reason map can return that information with the project lead ID. The brand can use it to review the landing page, offer, catalog or downstream customer process. TheCall reports what customers said; it does not claim that one call outcome proves the cause.
Product-call brief
Store handoff checklist
Brand-input template:
| Brand input | Example decision it controls |
|---|---|
| Store identity | How the agent introduces the call |
| Active offer set | Which products or variants may be discussed |
| Price and quantity table | Which totals and changes are permitted |
| Approved product facts | What the agent may explain |
| Prohibited claims | What the agent must not say |
| Customer-policy excerpt | What can be answered and what must be escalated |
| Final order fields | What the customer must confirm |
| Status and reason map | What the brand receives after the call |
This brief is completed with client-approved information. It is not a claim that TheCall has a ready-made connector or policy library for every store platform.
Integration is configured around the project
TheCall uses its own CRM, dialer, telephony and analytics stack. Agreed lead and status events can move through a configured real-time API. Custom integration is subject to technical discovery and feasibility.
There is no public Shopify plug-in and no promise to connect to every commerce, help-desk or CRM system. Alternative reporting or export paths can be configured where appropriate.
What remains with the brand
TheCall handles the customer conversation and agreed outcome. The brand controls its product, catalog, prices, permitted claims and customer policies. A fulfillment or courier operation handles storage, dispatch, delivery and payment collection.
TheCall does not generate traffic, call cold lists, process payment or guarantee conversion, order value, delivery or revenue.
